Our story began with a commitment to pure, raw, unheated honey. Though we were initially skeptical of mead, Michael’s cousin Tony—a seasoned home winemaker—saw the extraordinary potential in our raw harvest. He persuaded us to craft a single batch. The result was remarkable, proving that exceptional honey makes an exceptional mead. We’ve been crafting it ever since.

r the next few years, every spare moment was spent learning, reading, and mastering the crafts of mead and winemaking. Along the way, we met Dominic, who quickly became a great friend. After sampling our wines, he was all in and eager to help us launch Midgard Winery. We secured our farm winery license, brought in the equipment, and prepared to share our creations with the world.

Then, in 2019, tragedy struck. A devastating fire destroyed our entire facility, taking our winery and honey extraction equipment with it.

Starting over wasn't easy, but over the last few years, we’ve poured our hearts into rebuilding from the ground up. Today, we are thrilled to finally say: WE’RE BACK!
